2008 Teaching Artist Training Two-Week Workshop
In March, 23 professional dancers and musicians took part in NDI's annual 2-Week Teacher Training Workshop in New York City. Participants came from all parts of the globe, including Japan, Mexico, Taiwan and Jamaica. The workshop, under the direction Tracy Straus, introduced the group to NDI's teaching methods through hands-on learning with students at PS 1 in Chinatown. They also observed NDI classes in New York City public schools, and attended lectures and symposia.
