The Two-Week Workshop is designed to introduce professional dancers, dance teachers and musicians to NDI's acclaimed teaching methodology through observation and direct participation in high-energy dance classes, hands-on teaching, development of choreography for children, and informative discussion groups.

Workshop participants may continue with NDI and become apprentice teachers, join associate programs in other cities, or return to their own communities and establish programs based on the NDI model.

Artistic Director Ellen Weinstein and Associate Artistic Director Tracy Straus lead the workshop classes along with selected NDI master teacher/choreographers and musicians, including NDI Founder Jacques d'Amboise.

"I found the mutual respect, commitment and level of expectation during the workshop amazing, poignant, and inspirational. The whole experience helped me to define why I love dance and why I love teaching dance so much."
