Drawing is the fundamental building block of visual art-making. This course will focus on seeing and perceiving, developing technique, honing eye-hand coordination, and experimenting. Students will use line to create objects, tone to depict form, and gesture to capture motion. The projects will expand students' definitions of drawing to include collage, watercolors, journaling and group exercises.
