ARTS ENCOUNTER:
Movement & Music for Young Children
NDI's unique early childhood program, Arts Encounter, was developed by founder Jacques d'Amboise and Master Teaching Artist Emily Meisner in the belief that all children are dancers and singers.  Young children are immersed in an exploration of music and movement, learning energetic dance steps and designing their own costumes for a culminating performance.
Fee: $300 for a 10-week session

NDI DANCE
Children will experience the same high-energy dance classes provided in NDI’s award-winning In-School Program. In this joyfully rigorous environment, students master movement and original choreography, and perform for parents and peers. No previous dance experience necessary.
Fee: $200 for 10-week session

MUSICAL THEATER WORKSHOP
with Charlotte d'Amboise & Terrence Mann
Ages 10-18
This 4-day intensive workshop is designed to engage participants in musical theater through the study of acting, singing and dance. Students will work with Broadway professionals Terrence Mann, Charlotte d'Amboise and special guests to learn dance techniques, song interpretation, scene study and choreography. The workshop culminates in a performance by the students.
Fee: $500
Tuesday-Friday, February 21-24, 2012
10 AM - 5 PM daily

TAP
This Beginner/Intermediate level class provides a joyful, supportive environment in which students learn the fundamentals of tap technique, with an emphasis placed on musicality.

Fee: $200 for 10-week session

INTRO TO STAGE COMBAT & STUNT TRAINING
NDI Master Teaching Artist and Broadway veteran Arthur Fredric brings the fundamentals of stunt training and stage combat, teaching body control, character building, and the mastery of highly coordinated partner work. A joyfully rigorous class taught in a completely safe environment. No experience necessary. Please bring a gymnastic or yoga mat, or a thick beach towel.
Fee: $200 for 10-week session

Intro to Stunt Training for ages 9 and up
