After School Classes

National Dance Institute's After School Classes are open to the general public, and allow children not currently affiliated with our In-School or Advanced Programs to experience first-hand the excellence of NDI.

**Our Spring 2010 Session has come to a close.
Fall schedule’s will be posted in mid-September. **

Arts Encounter
Classes and workshops for children ages 5-6. Children learn energetic dance steps drawn from NDI’s unique pedagogy, study music and rhythm, and design and make their own costumes for a culminating performance.

 Jazz Orchestra with Neal Kirkwood
Children learn tunes by jazz masters, study the basics of improvisation, blues and swing, and learn to play together as an ensemble.

Tap Class with Toni Noblett
NDI offers a weekly beginning level tap class for children ages 6 and up. Taught by master teacher Toni Noblett, dancers develop fundamental tap technique by focusing on musicality.
