Celebration Team performs in CCTV event "China-US Hand-in-Hand"

On February 9, 2010, National Dance Institute Celebration Team dancers, under the direction of Ellen Weinstein, performed in "China-US Hand-in-Hand," a China Central Television gala event marking the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the United States and China. The young dancers were joined on stage by Chinese Soprano You Hongfei in a performance of "The Other Side of My World." The star-studded event featured distinguished performers from China and the US including Liu Weiwei, Wyclef Jean, Fei Xiang and Harry Connick, Jr.
