ABOUT THE NDI CENTER
The National Dance Institute Center for Learning & the Arts will further our mission and expand our reach, becoming a beacon for children, teachers and artists in the community and worldwide. In keeping with the NDI spirit, the NDI Center will be dedicated to children and to education, and will:

  • Offer expanded after-school, weekend and summer programs for advanced study, rehearsal and performance.
  • Train professional artists from throughout NYC and across the country to work successfully with a diverse range of learners, including early learners and children with special needs.
  • House a flexible studio/performance space operating year-round in the commissioning, creation and presentation of performance and visual arts. For information on studio rentals, please contact NDI during business hours, (212) 226-0083.
  • Provide continued opportunities for in-depth, long-term cultural exchange to foster children's global awareness and cultural literacy.

NDI has launched a $20 million capital campaign designed to complete construction, furnish the NDI Center, and establish building reserve and new programming initiative funds, as well as the organization’s first-ever endowment.
