NDI Collaborates with ConArte in Mexico City
NDI's relationship with ConArte in Mexico City began in 2006 with a residency program conducted by NDI Master Teacher Dr. Jenny Seham. Jenny spent five months in Mexico training local professional dancers, musicians and administrators as they developed their own program based upon NDI's acclaimed methodolgy. The NDI-inspired program, entitled Aprender con Danza (Learning Through Dance), now serves thousands of children in dozens of schools throughout Mexico City. Jenny's work with ConArte inspired NDI to choose Mexico as the 2007-2008 Curricular Theme.
