NDI joined two other youth organizations on the set of "Good Morning America" on December 12, 2016 to help promote Will Smith's new film "Collateral Beauty". The film is about "finding your why" and one student from each organization spoke to their "why" and how their respective group has impacted them.

He talked about Tanaquil Le Clerq in Jerome Robbins' Afternoon of a Faun (1953)—a tiny clip of it was in the montage that DFA showed in tribute to him."
