As part of NDI’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, join us for a special screening of the Academy Award– and Emmy Award–winning documentary He Makes Me Feel Like Dancin', directed by Emile Ardolino (Dirty Dancing). The beloved film captures the vision of NDI Founder Jacques d’Amboise in action as he leads 1,000 New York City children toward an unforgettable performance at Madison Square Garden’s Felt Forum.

More than four decades later, this inspiring documentary remains a powerful testament to the joy, artistry, and impact of dance education. 

Following each screening, hear firsthand stories about the making of the film and the historic NDI performance with panel discussion moderated by beloved New York storyteller Budd Mishkin, featuring Christopher d'Amboise, George James, and Judy Kinberg.
