NDI Re-Establishes Program for Visually Impaired Children

In the Fall of 2008, NDI launched two Saturday classes in partnership with The Filomen M. D'Agostino Greenberg Music School at Lighthouse International for children and youth ages 7-18 who have vision loss. Led by NDI Teaching Artist Dr. Jenny Seham, the program brings NDI's award-winning teaching methodology to this unique population. The program is a renewal of NDI's long-time association with Lighthouse International, which first held NDI classes from 1989-2004. The Lighthouse International program reflects NDI’s founding belief that all children, regardless of ability, can attain excellence through the performing arts.
