Mexico Banner Project
In February 2008, NDI Board Member Helen Stambler Neuberger traveled with a delegation of NDI teaching artists and staff to Mexico City where she worked with renowned Mexican artists Marissa Lara and Arturo Guerrero on a banner project with the children of ConArte's NDI-inspired program, Aprender con Danza (Learnng Through Dance).
Children, teachers and parents throughout New York City will be able to see the colorful banners in end-of-year-performances at NDI's 30 partner schools, the culmination of a year-long study of Mexico.
